Adam Beckett - Owner

Since I started my career in the late 80’s, I have been passionate about brands, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with some great brands over the years. From Scholl to Wella to Optimum Nutrition and most recently Batiste Waterpik and Flawless Finishing Touch.

I’ve worked internationally in a range of marketing, sales and general management roles and almost always with international brands which started with low market share or no presence at all, resulting in market leaders. In some cases, this has involved actually creating a category and making the brand relevant to local consumers. Of course, brands don’t build themselves without the right people on board, so building organizational capacity has been a key part of what I’ve been charged to do. Whether this is setting up a full-blown entity in a country, and recruiting a team, or working through distributors, the key is always doing what generates the best long-term RoI.

Finally, to be successful, all the brands I’ve worked with have had to embrace new channels, and new ways of communicating with the consumer in the digital space. I’ve developed international omni-channel plans, which have involved key e-commerce players, marketplaces and launching D2C solutions.

I’ve worked extensively with Amazon across Europe and the Middle East, as well as setting up partners to access other key ecommerce marketplaces

 Our Unique Offer

We are only too aware that the world is not short of “consultants”. Whilst Xenos aims to provide a comprehensive consultancy service on international strategy, this is only part of our offer. The key is being able to execute the strategy with you. At the other end of the scale, it also apparent that there are plenty of “match-makers”, who have networks in certain markets. How do you know they are not steering towards a given outcome, purely limited by their network? What we do is understand what the question is, and then provide and execute the solution with you. We won’t come to you with a proposition without first thoroughly examining your needs and developing a strategy with you, or where you are specifically asking for a solution in a certain market, we deliver a tailor-made market appropriate solution.
